Dipsacus fullonum

We call this image: The Poser. I discovered it on the North French coast just before Honfleur. It was very windy that day, so I could only take the pictures in the tent. As the night progressed, it became increasingly stormy, until we had to move to a slightly less windy spot.

What remained in my memory, however, are these amusing poses of the Wild Teasel; they look as if they are conducting Vivaldi’s Four Seasons!
