Mentha aquatica

Water mint, also known as brook mint, has a pleasant scent and prefers damp conditions. I discovered this specimen on the lakeside path in Munich’s Westpark. It is also considered a medicinal plant, e.g., for side stitches.

I like this motif very much because it looks as if the flower is grinning over its green, pointed hat!
