Dipsacus pilosus

The small teasel is typically known as an extraordinarily prickly plant at the end of stems approximately 1.20 m long. But they are currently in bloom, which delights bees and thrills macro photographers. Hundreds of tiny blossoms sit between the prickles, opening first at the sides and then at the top.
From above, it looks almost like a comic-book explosion!
