In the middle of the busy Kapuzinerplatz, there is a flower oasis created by the Green City Initiative. A Munich-based association whose members resist the trend of urban sealing and create flight corridors for our tiniest residents.

And it works! Just centimeters away from passing trucks, bees buzz about, quite astonished by the sudden abundance of nectar. Here I discovered and documented the alarm-red flax blossom.
