One does not typically encounter the grape hyacinth from this perspective. Familiar from many gardens and occasionally found along the roadside, what appear to be blue grapes protrude vertically from the grass. This type of inflorescence was therefore simply named a raceme, which is quite fitting.

This particular flower worked its way from a garden all the way to the street on its own, making it perfect for vertical documentation.
