To be honest, it was initially a technical aspect that piqued my curiosity: How can one photograph tiny structures with consistent sharpness?Optical laws make continuous depth of field impossible in the macro range. The photographer Carl von Einem then drew my attention to the focus stacking method, which opened up the wonderful world of macro photography to me.
Of all the macro experiments that followed, none fascinated me as much as the often tiny, delicate blossoms of wild plants—or weeds, for that matter. The details, which are barely visible to the human eye, only become visible in all their complexity after sometimes hundreds of individual photos and the subsequent rendering process.
And so, we find ourselves sitting in front of the screen time and again, marvelling at nature’s infinite ingenuity.I would now like to share this joy with you!
