The glandular balsam originates from India and has been widespread in Europe for 200 years. It has even reached Sweden at Lake Vänern, where it grows like a weed. But as a tourist, one can simply enjoy the abundance of flowers that push into every front garden.
I have not yet photographed such “snapdragon flowers” because it would require images from all sides to understand their form. Here I dared to look into the snapdragon’s mouth: two tongues immediately draw the eye toward the teeth… UARRRGH!
